I was hoping someone here could share a good spot to capture a good nightscape of the downtown Atlanta area. I would like do it where several interstates intersect.

Hi All,
By chance, if you guys come across a large amount of Nikon gear for sale in the Atlanta area over the few days or weeks, would you please give me a heads up? I had all my gear stolen from the back of my car last night right outside my home. I just forgot to grab it when I got in late. Anyway, here is a list of the bigger items that were stolen. It is all insured, and I do have most of the serial numbers. I'd just like the chance to nail someone's ass to the wall over this one. All told, just over $16,000 gone. The biggest items were the D3, D700 and some really nice glass. Anyway, if you come across anything odd, please let me know.

October 20th as seen from the top of Stone Mountain.

Well October 20th according to my calculations if they're correct. That's a Saturday as well so it'll work out for a perfect climb the mountain stroll. I'm planning on getting a stroll thread started in early October.

So all we need is a cloudless sky, haze less air, plenty of energy to climb the mountain, lots of flickr folk and a stroll leader. I'll be out of town. I'm gonna do it a day early.

I don't know if there's anything skyline-specific planned. I do remember that someone (Pops, maybe?) determined when the sun would be setting directly behind the atlanta skyline, and it was October or November.
