Thought it well worth an update on the group!
Set up at the beginning of 2010 the group pool has over 6,000 shots of a stunning selection of the most diverse,exciting and interesting houses across the world.......why not check the group out The Twentieth Century and Contemporary House.....as said above the range extends from a stunning selection of Modernist and Art Deco houses...right through to the utterly contemporary and innovative......but the emphasis is always on design or comment....we are a friendly public group so ALL are welcome.......

Set up a few weeks ago The Twentieth Century and Contemporary House has been set up to gather together photographs of all types and styles of houses with the emphasis very much largely on the modern.........from Art Deco and Art Nouveau...to Modernist...to the revolutionary Architectural designs of the Atomic Age and Mid-Century...RIGHT UP TO PRESENT DAY HOUSES.....so any photographs of houses built during the Twenty First Century are also very welcome.
Although this group is largely focussed on exterior shots, if necessary interiors are welcome provided they are relevant to the group...and particularly welcome are old photographs of houses that may have now been altered, changed, or worse, demolished !
If you are interested please check out the pool and feel free to join in......

Members, you might want to check this website and see if they have stolen any of your photos. In a blatant act of copyright violation they stole one of my photos and have been running it on a page with paid advertising. Yes, it links back to Flickr but that does not in any way nullify their obligation to me to get my permission as the copyright holder to run the photo.

The further one investigates this pirate the more Flickr photos one finds.

If you are unlucky enough to discover any of your photos on this site (an easy way to find out if someone is using your photos is to google your screen name) then, by all means, spread the word.

The Twentieth Century Society campaigns for the preservation of everything from cinemas to chapels, leisure centres to libraries, phone boxes to factories - basically everything of British architecture build from 1914 onwards.

There is a flickr group called 'Flickr Friends of The Twentieth Century Society'. You can find the group at www.flickr.com/groups/c20society/.

I would be grateful if you would consider joining this group and adding the relevant pictures you have.
