Winter/Christmas in Cardiff

Hi all,

Thank you so much to everyone who has added photos to this group throughout 2012 - we've had some stunning submissions since the start of the year, and have thoroughly enjoyed looking through them.

We're just two days away from the start of December, so we were hoping all our members would be up for getting involved in a festive group challenge! We'd like people to submit photos to the group throughout December on the subject of winter or Christmas in Cardiff, which we then plan to showcase in a number of ways.

Firstly, WalesOnline is running a "Flickr advent calendar" from December 1, showcasing a different wintry image each day until Christmas, and some of these will also be published in the Western Mail and Wales On Sunday.

Then towards the end of the month, we'll choose three of the best wintry images submitted either to this group or WalesOnline's Postcards From Wales group, and turn them into e-Christmas cards, which can be downloaded from the WalesOnline site.

We will also be putting together galleries of your images on yourCardiff, and featuring them on our Facebook page. You will of course be credited wherever your photo is used, and we'll contact you to let you know when and where it will appear.

So, send us your images of snow-covered Cardiff, frozen Cardiff, festive Cardiff - whatever you think fits the theme. If you have wintry images taken elsewhere in Wales, then please submit them to WalesOnline's Postcard From Wales group here: www.flickr.com/groups/postcardsfromwales/

If you can include in your captions when and where the image was taken, we'd be most grateful. Looking forward to seeing them!

Even under the buildings themselves, they're all connected. You can be in the cellar in Reflex and end up in O'Neill's through little passageways.
