Glass ID

A place for enthusiasts of art glass to post pictures of items with no signature or label for identification by others, and also for discussion.
Welcome to Flickr to glass collectors coming here via the Glass Message Board. You'll need to join flickr, (free) and then join this group in order to post pictures and make comments. I hope we are all able to help each other identify those tricky specimens.
If you have photos of stuff which has positive ID that you think might be helpful to others, please post.

Help IDing Orrefors vase, maybe a pitcher?

nebspinner posted a new topic:

I found a very minty vase bearing the Orrefors label. It is about 12 inches high and 4-5 inches across at the lip. One side of the rim is higher and there is a small pouring spout on the high side. This is a two-color vase, the inside of the vase is translucent white while the outside is clear. Has a pug mark, sounds lovely when flicked gently with a finger.

I've had a look at the Orrefors website but I can't find anything resembling this item.

I'll try to post a photo later today, or perhaps tomorrow morning.

Cocktail glasses

Redlu_ posted a new topic:

Hi there,

I bought this set of cocktail glasses recently and I have been unable to determine who made them and when:

They look like they are from the 50s-60s but they could also be a reproduction. There were some faint, wide stripes on the glass that I was unable to capture in photos.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks for your help

Thanks for that. Some of the Czech mid century stuff is excellent, and there wasn't too much literature about it.
