As we were so impressed by the quality of entries to our first Pretty BIG Dog Photography Competition we thought "why don't we make this a regular thing?" and that is exactly what we have done.

We now offer much BIGGER and BETTER prizes and so in the July Pretty BIG Dog Competition we are letting the 3 lucky winners pick their prize from a selection of great products on our website.

The competition is broken down into 3 age categories and we select 1 winner from each, every month.

For years I have wanted to buy land and build a place for sick and homeless animals. I've taken in many strays since I was a child and had found homes for most of them.
Koko's Place, named after an abandoned puppy I adopted, will be an off grid animal home and rescue for dogs that are homeless and disabled. For those unfamiliar with the term off grid, it means I will have to provide my own energy supply, water and waste removal. It's like homesteading. The facility will be located in New Mexico where land is remote and inexpensive with the climate being idea for solar power.
I am currently soliciting funds to make this project a reality. Please visit my campaign and donation page on Indiegogo's crowd funding site to contribute to this cause. Any amount you can give will be appreciated.

1. My dog Jasmine is a rescue from a Nevada high kill shelter. She was plucked out in the nick of time by an Australian Cattle Dog rescue organization and brought to my state.

2. My cat Keiko was rescued by a dumpster when she was a kitten. She's been with me ever since. She's now 12 years old.

3. My cat June was adopted as a kitten at a feed store. The owner was trying to find homes for homeless kittens

4. My cat Rusty walked into our yard in November 2008 and adopted us. He was a stray and once he hit our porch he never left. We love him so much.
