I'm doing this project not because I think I have to, but but because the December season is important to me, and I like to remember the experience. I didn't get beyond last year's page 21 until today but I still love seeing it and am finishing it right now.

Remember that the memories are the most important thing, so don't stress about the papers and embellishments, just put something nice together using your photo(s) and journaling as the main items.

That's one of the great things about digital. Much less time consuming (at least for me). Don't have to get photos printed and you can take your laptop, therefore scrapbook, anywhere.

I haven't even started the journal process. I always start late. I write in a journal daily and have every year. I take photos and upload them to flickr with my notes and get them printed as I go. I have to be in a mood to put it all together. I try not to stress about it because I like the holidays to be stress free.

Yes I do have this same problem..humm...it happens in a lot of my albums. My plan is to use ribbon or adher ribbon to the inside of the covers and tie the covers together... that is what I have to do last year. Love my album, don't want to stop with the embellishments :)

Thanks for your comments - I have been focusing on just writing everyday and that has allowed me to keep up. I'm so happy I took some time in November to pre-cut my journaling cards - that has made it easier. I haven't taken a lot of pictures so far, and I plan to add most of my pictures later. So far, so good. I hope to post a few of my entries sometime before the end of December.

The thing that takes the longest for me is the photographing/posting/blogging thing. Since that is the least important that is kind of taking a backseat.

As far as most important part, I agree, this project can be very time consuming but if it's becoming too much I would take a step back from making it really artistic and just getting the journaling and photos together. You can always make it more artistic later.

Eek... we're only on day 9 and my album is starting to get rather big! I'm starting to worry that it might not all fit into the huge O-rings I thought were more than large enough for this project!

Anyone else having this problem? Think I'm going to have to cut down on the bulky embellishments (which is funny to me because I think I'm pretty minimalistic compared to so many scrappers)!

Can you buy bigger than 3 inch O-rings? Maybe I'l have to change it out to ribbon to accommodate the size? Or would letting my book get that big look really wonky?

Anyone with similar issues or feedback?
