You guys got some really good autographs!
My experience: I got the train to London from Kent at about 10am and met my friend who lives in student accommodation for her uni in london. We queued for a few hours and managed to get wristbands pretty quickly! Then we went back to my friend's flat and stayed there the night.
The next morning we overslept and arrived at Trafalgar Square at around mid day when it was raining loads. There was no chance of us getting near the front of the main red carpet section, so we went to the upper tier where it was a lot less crowded. We were on the second row from the barriers, along another stretch of red carpet where all the TV cameras and different reporters were lined up ready to interview the actors! We were so unbelievably lucky, I managed to get autographs from -
Tom Felton, Rupert Grint, James Phelps (Fred Weasley), Helen McCrory (Narcissa Malfoy), Jessie Cave (Lavender Brown), Alfie Enoch (Dean Thomas), and Rohan Gotobed (young Sirius Black).
So many other cast members came past, as well as all the celebrities attending the film premiere in Leicester Square! At the end once the emotional speech had been made, people started climbing the barriers and trying to take the posters from the gates! It was crazy. I feel so lucky to have been able to even attend the event, let alone get autographs!
The best part was when Alan Rickman was giving interviews opposite us and everyone was shouting 'SNAPE, SNAPE, SEVERUS SNAPE" haha. You can see it here but can't really here the shouting! www.youtube.com/watch?v=0wiufWqR9mw

Anyway that was my premiere experience! I hope everyone else enjoyed it/watched it at home :) Either way it was amazing.
After seeing Deathly Hallows Part 2 realisation sunk in that it was the last Harry Potter, ever. It felt like a grieving process haha it was so hard to come to terms with!

My Experience:
I got there at 6am!!! It rained for the whole time we were waiting for the premiere to begin, then, just as the premiere started it stopped raining! (Thank god!)
I was in the 2nd row opposite the press and so loads of stars came over to talk to the press!!
I got: Rupert Grint, Natalia Tena, Tom Felton, Warwick Davies, Clemence Poesy, Rohan Gotobed and Evanna Lynch :D
I gave Evanna a bracelet of mine when she came over and she actually put it on and thanked me a lot for it! I was so happy!! :D :D
Dan did come over to us, but he missed my book. Also, Emma signed some, but nowhere near me and my friends. But apparently she came back after me and my friends had gone. I am so happy that I was a part of the final Premiere! It was amazing :D

Thank you so much for all the pictures, it looks like you had an amazing time and made the most of it :) I love your step by step account of the trip on the other website and the picture of you with Matthew Lewis and Rupert Grint is fab! Its a shame you weren't able to fly on the plane with the cast, thats a bit weird that they changed that?! How odd. I saw the step by step run through of how you made your costume and I can't believe how many stages there were!!! Thats sheer dedication and talent!

Oh, and to those who asked a question, I need to get in touch with the powers that be to see if it's still OK for me to get (and share) a copy of the interviews which didn't make the 3 minute version. If I'm allowed to share it, I'll try to post it up somewhere. There were some great questions / responses in there so hopefully it'll be OK :-)

Sorry I've not replied sooner. 2 days after arriving back from New York we jetted off again for our 1st family holiday in 8 years! No holiday in years and then they come along like buses lol

As a result I didn't get a chance to post up anything before we left but if there are enough people still following this group then I'll try to pop something up now that I'm back.

If you're all interested in hearing about the experience, post up here so that I know (probably not worth me doing it if just a couple of people are still following this group now that it's all over )
