Ok, ok wikipedia clears things up: the Type2 (T3) Vans _without_ an extra air inlet just above the front bumper are aircooled. Except if it had air conditioning.... Now we can all sleep well again ;)

BTW this might or might not invalidate vespamore!'s entry, depending on whether that van has air-conditioning or not :)

Until 84, before the facelift. In europe, I think this makes the ones with the round head lamps qualify. With some exceptions...
This will make moderating this group's input extremely difficult ;)

Thanks for invite, I spotted a Caravelle 'Syncro' yesterday which I shot, am getting film back later today. I think that would qualify for group - did the Caravelle have an air cooled engine? Anyway, I'll add it & you can delete if it doesn't qualify...
