In response to conversations and messages we have been sent on Flickr, we thought it would be good to highlight some of the beautiful birds that you can see in the Arun District, which includes Bognor Regis, Littlehampton, Arundel and surrounding villages in West Sussex.

If you have a lovely picture that we could add a link to on Flickr, include in a Flickr gallery (the picture would still be on your Flickr page) curated by Sussex by the Sea or if you would like to submit one of your photos in the Arun District photo group, it would be good to hear from you. You can join the Arun District photo group by searching on groups on Flickr.

As ever, it has been nice to see the photos in the West Sussex wildlife group and to tell others about them too.

Hi I'm Oliver Wilks, I've been taking photos since I was 8 and take most my photos at Warnham LNR. I live in Horsham and also often going on bike rides around West Sussex in search of new photos. I aim to become a professional Wildlife Photographer as a career and so spend a lot of my time taking photos and in doing so improving on old ones.

Hi my name is Paul (Fogmyst) I live in Crawley. Thank you for the invite Danny. Wildlife photography is a new interest for me, and wish I had started this years ago! Love just spending hours trying to capture amazing shots. Hoping to improve both my photographic teqnique and also my ability to get better shots but insuring that I minimize my impact on the wildlife. West Sussex has some superb locations and amazing wildlife.

My thanks to Danny for inviting me to the group. Name's Rob and am now living in Pagham for past 5 years, but previously Horsham.

In West Sussex we are fortunate enough to have so many beautiful hotspots for wildlife so am hoping we can all share these with each other through our photos.
