Alright, I've contacted admin about the matter I raised in my first discussion and the outcome is, I'm now a moderator of this wonderful group.
So, dear members, make sure you follow the group rule. There's only one and it's simple: Blue Sky Background means exactly that. A house, a horse, a honeybee, whatever it is doesn't matter, but the sky behind it has to be blue. BLUE! Not grey, not white, not black because of a thunderstorm approaching. Thunderstorms make for dramatic pictures but please post them to other groups. Here we deal in BLUE SKIES ONLY, if you please. That's why the group is called "Blue Sky Background".
Pictures without a blue sky will be deleted without further notice. Thank you for your attention.

Where are those blue skies?

Queen Breaca posted a new topic:

Dear all, dear admin,
I think this group is going to be great. But honestly, it should not be a dump-and-run group for any shot some people feel fit to upload here. A blue sky is a BLUE sky, what's not to understand about that? My suggestion is that the admin takes a closer look and deletes photos which do not comply with this simple rule. If you need any help, I'll offer my services as a moderator or co-admin, whatever, and help you with it. The good thing about Flickr is that it's basically a very friendly network, but in my humble opinion this does not mean that people can violate rules as they please. We should all show some more respect to each other and to group admins.
To illustrate what I mean, here's the URL of a pic which, I think, has not business to be in this group pool. Judge for yourselves and make up your minds what to do about it.
www.flickr.com/photos/dersimozel/8474198174/in/pool-15728...
By the way, I really like that shot, the birds are great, but there's absolutely no blue sky to be seen, so the photographer should consider other groups to upload it to.
Regards,
