Please,

I need the highest number of votes to win a competition and go on a one year trip to take pictures about people and what they eat.
You just have to vote with the following link for the project "Marion, Qu'est-ce que tu manges ?" and just agree with the application offered to validate the vote.

It would be nice if you could assemble some more moderators instead. The group seems to be losing its je ne se qua: people are posting images that aren't even portraits, nevermind original portraits!

Some suggestions:

1. Limit the number of submissions to 1 or 2 a week
2. When you are hit by a long submission list, deny all, then specifically select the ones that you think are good (that's what I've done in groups where I am admin)
3. Don't overthink it, spend 2 seconds or 3 per picture

Hi there, unfortunately this group has just spiralled out of my control. The group is home to nearly 10000 member now and I have been trying to moderate all submissions. This has just become an impossible task for me now.
Because of this I have set the group to allow all submissions to be added to the pool straight away, this completely destroys the purpose of the group because it is supposed to be for unusual portraits; where the photographer had really tried to create something unique.
This was to stop people posting generic boring photos. However, that is what is going to happen now as I can't control the size of the group now, so I apologize to those of you who used this group to find inspiration and I hope you understand the reasons behind me no longer moderating the group.

So lately I have been obsessed with taking slow shutter portraits. I usually keep it at 30 secs and freeze 2-3 poses that merge and become one multi-layered picture.

I like these ones. But I know I could have done so much more. If you liked my work/hated it/were intrigued by it/have a suggestion please leave behind a comment or message me.
