http://www.flickr.com/groups/3waydisneychallenge/ <b>The 3Way Disney Challenge</b> is temporarily CLOSED. We are retooling the challenge rules and will re-open in the near future. The purpose of this group is to have fun with your Disney pictures by sharing them and competing against other Disney fans for a spot in the group pool. <b>Please take the time to read the rules before posting to the group:</b> There are 20 available challenges open at any given time, and each is numbered with a regular required theme.. Each challenge consists of three (3) medium sized photos with something in common: either a theme or a technique. All members vote to select the photo that should go to the group's pool. The photo that gets 5 votes first wins, and then voting for that challenge stops. Anything Disney-related is welcome. This challenge is not limited to photos from the Disney theme parks, although they will be the most common photos posted. Winner has 30 minutes to start a new challenge before the moderators can open it for them. <b>If it has been 30 minutes since you won, you must check to make sure that your challenge number is still available before starting a new challenge. Do not start a new challenge if the moderators have already begun one.</b> Starting a challenge Only the winner of a previous challenge (or an admind/moderator) can open a new one. 1. Tag your photo &quot;3Way Disney Challenge Winner.&quot; 2. Post your previous winning photo to the 3Way Disney Challenge pool. 3. Check to make sure the moderators have not already started a new challenge. 4. Copy the info from the &quot;How To Open A New Challenge&quot; post. 5. The new challenge should have the same numbering as the challenge you just won and the subject must be within the assumed theme of that numbered challenge. 6. Winner can either post the first photo or let others post all 3 photos. When starting a new theme challenge, the following format must be used for the topic title: XX - OPEN - Theme Type - [chosen subject goes here] Once the three photos have been posted the moderators or the owner of the thread must change the title to # VOTE Theme -xx. Voting can then begin! How does voting work? The voting starts at 0-0-0. You may only vote once. Vote by changing the number to match the corresponding photo. For example, if you wanted to vote for the second photo, you would change it to 0-1-0. <b>You may vote in a challenge that includes your photo, but you may not vote for your own photo.</b> Once a photo has reached 5 votes, the owner of the challenge or an administrator must change the thread status from VOTE to CLOSED. Moderators will send the following Award notice to the winner: <img src="http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4025/4670946822_462f566e35_s.jpg" width="75" height="75" alt="3Way Mickey" /><b> Congratulations! You've won the 3Way Disney Challenge. Please tag your image 3WayDisneyChallengeWinner and submit your Winning photo to the <a href="http://www.flickr.com/groups/3WayDisneyChallenge">3Way Disney Challenge</a> winner's pool.</b> The winner then posts the photo to the group's pool and opens a new challenge with the same number &amp; theme requirement (if available). Once a photo is in the pool you cannot challenge with it again. If a photo becomes eligible to be placed in the pool (by winning a challenge), then you may not challenge with that photo again. Participation Whenever you see a challenge labeled as OPEN with less than three (3) photos and you have a picture that matches the theme/technique and subject proposed, you are allowed to post the medium sized photo in the discussion. The owner of the challenge can reject any picture not considered to match the specifications. Group mods or admins can also reject photos that do not meet correct specifications. You may enter as many challenges as you like, but do not enter the same photo in more than one challenge at a time. Before placing a photo in a challenge you must vote in all other challenges marked VOTE. Only photos that have won a challenge may proceed to the pool. Photos added that haven't won in a challenge will not be approved by the administrators. Feedback is welcome: questions, comments, etc, just email an admin and they'll help you out. NOT ALLOWED: Nudity Nudity or sexually suggestive material is not allowed. By this, we mean adult sexual situations. Photos that are deemed offensive (at the discretion of the moderators) will be disqualified and removed. <b>Photos will still be allowed that include all types of people regardless of race, religion, disability, sexual orientation, etc. </b> Please respect your fellow challenge participants and have fun!
