I would suggest the 2/3 size and lengthened body and sleeve.
If you measure the pattern pieces themselves you'll have a better understanding of the jacket width. You may also consider creating a muslin before cutting into the wool/cashmere fabric b/c I too would hate for you to cut and have an uh-oh moment.
If you haven't sewn welt pockets before I would also have a look at the "Welt Pocket" topic below and practice one first. :)

Nituna: What size?

I am making the nituna coat view B with the pleat and welt pockets for my 4 1/2 year old. She is 40" tall her chest is 21 1/2", Waist 20 1/2", hip 21". I haven't made the nituna before but it is described as "roomy". Should I make a 2/3 with 4/5 sleeve and body length or a 4/5 as drafted? I don't want it to be too small but not so large that it looks ridiculous. Thanks for any advice. I am sewing with some wool/cashmere and would hate to make it and it not fit!

Oh man I wish I had seen these before!! I just googled it and watched a youtube video on it which helped, but the Nituna directions were tricky if you've no idea what a welt pocket is :)

I'm going to make some more though so I'm about to go check out these tutorials.

I so love all of these patterns but my girls wear a 10/12. Does anyone have any idea how difficult it would be to adjust the patterns to fit them? Even better, will the patterns come in larger sizes at any time? Thanks so much for your help.
