Hi friends!

I just wanted to pop in and explain why there was no weekly theme this week. Life is so very busy for me these days, juggling work and life with a 6-month-old. I've decided to take a step back for a little bit from many of my commitments. This includes Slice of Life Tuesday.

For now, there will be no weekly themes. However, feel free to continue to post your Slice of Life photos in this group. I want to encourage you to photograph the details of your everyday life - the laundry, your family, daily routines, etc.

I'm hoping that by slowing down a bit, I will be able to practice what I preach a little more. I, too, will be photographing my Slices of Life. Now, I'll have a little more time to do it.

I will continue to update my blog regularly and will be running my photography e-course, the Slice of Life Project later this year. I'd love to have you in the class!

Please stay in touch and keep sharing your lovely photos!

Hi everyone!

As many of you know, I recently had a baby and am learning to balance my photography/business/online life with life with a little one. This Slice of Life Tuesday group has been a labor of love for a very long time - since I first started my blog four years ago. I've been trying to figure out the best way to keep this beautiful community going, to keep the weekly themes going, while balancing all the other things I do.

Enter: Kylie! Kylie and I have been online buddies for many years. She has so graciously volunteered to post the themes each week here in the Flickr group. I will still be posting the themes and stories to go along with the weekly themes every Tuesday on my blog. I do hope you'll visit me there to see the photo inspiration and details about the weekly theme.

In addition, Kylie may write a guest Slice of Life guest post from time to time. She is truly a talented photographer. She lives in New Zealand with her family and shares her photos and thoughts on her beautiful blog Radiant Reflections.

Anyway, just thought I'd give you a quick introduction so you'll know why Kylie will be posting here regularly.
