Like many of you we had tons going on in the library it was hard to choose just one day. It would have been nice to choose a month instead. I chose a day where students were invited to read to our principal. At the same time we were judging our 4th annual "Build a Potato" contest. Students were asked to decorate a potato like their favorite story book character. There were so many good ones I kept having to make up awards.

We had a lot of fun on Snapshot Day! It was hard for us to remember that we could pick only one day! In the same week, but on other days we also offered ballet classes, had live music and hosted all the 3rd grade classes from one of the local elementary schools. I'm sure all the rest of you ran into the same problem. I can't believe there are still people who say libraries are becoming obsolete. Not in THIS neck of the woods! Hope y'all had as much fun as we did.
