Christmas Fair and Foal Show
Sun 12 December
10:00 – 17:00
Adult £7, Conc £6, Child 12 and under free
Find plenty of festive spirit at our Christmas Fair. Gorgeous Shetland foals and donkeys always steal the show! Make your own Yuletide pomander or play traditional Christmas parlour games at the farmhouse. Try some indoor curling or learn how to prepare Scottish Christmas foods. Don’t forget to stop by and say hi to Santa.

We are looking for volunteers to assist with moderating our museum Flickr groups. If you are enthusiastic about the National Museum of Rural Life and interested in helping us to develop our Flickr presence, this could be the role for you!

Benefits for volunteers include:
- Free access to all National Museums Scotland museums and paying exhibitions (special conditions apply for the War Museum and the Airshow)
- Discounts at National Museums Scotland museum shops and cafés (discounts vary from site to site)
- Invite to the annual reception for all National Museums Scotland volunteers (currently around Christmas time)
- Allocation of free tickets for friends and family allowing free entry to National Museums Scotland museums and paying exhibitions (special conditions apply for the War Museum and the Airshow)
