I know I wish i had thought about taking photos of the city back then. I know somewhere out there someone has some really great photos of White Plains just have to keep looking. Great photos of the RKO and Pix.

Bill, I really appreciate all your contributions. I had found on line a photo of the inside of the Pix Theater. Had you seen it in my stream?

Unfortunately all the years I've lived in White Plains, I never thought to take pictures of buildings or streets etc. I guess film was expensive in those days and it seemed to ordinary of a subject to photograph. Theres a set I found of old vintage NY photos, alot of them of battery park before it was actually built. Here is the link to his photo set. if your interested

Hi Steve

I have not come across any photos of the Pix or the Colony theaters yet i do have a photo of the RKO before it was a movie theater it was before movies it was live shows when i find my photos i will upload them into my computer and post them i just moved so things are packed up yet. Loved some of the cards and photos you just posted i have a few of those cards you beat me posting them.

Does anyone have an old photo of the Pix Theater, Colony Theater or the RKO Keith Theater on Mamaroneck Ave.

How about the Milk Maid, or Daddy Michaels, which also was on Mamaroneck Ave?
