New Co-Admin and some slight changes

Hi, I am Jeff Scism, I am the new co-admin for the Nightscapes group.

I have made a small change in the way photos are posted to the group.

I have installed a "pending" function, which means photos you submit are screened. The ONLY things we are screening for at this time are whether or not it is a Nightscape. (No SUN allowed, submissions have to be night-time photography)

Some things about Nightscapes. Modern cameras are designed to have extended sensitivity in low light. This means that SOME shots near dusk or dawn may appear to be daylight shots. Feel free to post those at our sister group www.flickr.com/groups/mysunset/ "My Sunset is Another's Sunrise."

IF "in our opinion" they are TOO much like daylight shots, they will not be approved.

Feel free to appeal.

Keep your photos "safe for work", please. If you don't want your mother, your children, your boss or your wife seeing these, then use restraint when you think about posting them.

Also you may now post up to 12 shots per day, instead of six.

Please pick your best work.

hello R&B! not too talkative a group here... i dont really see the point of handing out awards to keep anyone here... but click for click, i feel we have some very creative expressionists that post and try different aspects of thier subjects without the expectation of being called "TREMENDOUS CAPTURE OF THE CENTURY!" We just comment appropriately when we see something that stirs us emotionally! keep looking for the shot you like and snap away bro... dan s.

hey, thanks again for posting and joining this group! we have some fantastic shots! captivating... i never knew the night life on other continents was so different and foreign to me. mysterious is probably a better way to describe your interpretations! i thought about having us give out awards and accolades, but i can enjoy what we have here without a bunch of ego messaging crap :)... anyways keep the expressions coming! ... dan s.
