Cleopatra photo contest

Milwaukee Public Museum posted a new topic:

We are now accepting entries to our Cleopatra photo contest. It’s really simple, all you need to do is:

1.	Take a photo with Cleopatra* (she’ll be lounging on the ground floor of the Museum every Friday from 10am - 2pm near our tickets windows)
2.	Join the Milwaukee Public Museum Flickr Group here.
3.	Upload a photo of you with Cleopatra to the Milwaukee Public Museum Group Flickr Pool
4.	Tag the photo Cleo2012

Photos will be accepted until 4 p.m. January 13, 2012. After all the photos are submitted, voting will begin (sneaky, early votes will not count!).

1.	Voting will begin at 4 p.m. January 13
2.	Voting will end at 4 p.m. January 20
3.	You can vote for each photo only once, though you can vote for more than one photo
4.	You cannot vote for your own photo
5.	We will post a link to the photos so it is easy to find/share, or you will be able to search in the MPM groups pool for Cleo2012
6.	To vote on a Cleo photo, just write, “This Cleo gets my vote”
7.	The photo with the most votes at 4 p.m. Friday, January 20 will win
8.	Winner will be announced at 4:30 p.m. Friday, January 20

Person with the most votes wins a year-long Pathfinder Membership to the Milwaukee Public Museum. Find out what a Pathfinder membership is here.

How do you upload photos? Flickr will explain here. And Flickr explains how to post photos in threads here.

*Cleopatra will be lounging on the ground floor, near the tickets windows, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Fridays ONLY. No purchase necessary to enter. Cleopatra will be located in a publicly accessible area.

Retinal Fetish posted a reply:

Hello.. from Flickr's main menu bar (top of page) click on the "Organize & Create" down arrow. Click on "Your Sets" and it'll load the organizer page with sets loaded. Double click the set you want to work on. On the top of the page, within the set tab, click the "Batch edit" down arrow and then "Send to group".

It's generally bad etiquette to flood a group with photos (which is why most groups set a daily/monthly limit)... but in a small group like this, where even if you self-limited you'd still bump in to your previous additions from days before, I don't think it would be an issue.

Hope that helps!

Hi!
Awesome photos of the Frogs exhibit! Not sure if there is a way to merge photostreams -- but I know you can very easily add your photos to our group if you're a member. I'll look into the merge though...
Thanks!

So, is there any way to have the photos in my Photostream set from MPM show up in the MPM stream? If not, feel free to take a peek here:
