I think it would be great if the photos you include in your "Reader Photos" would include the captions posted by the original photographers. It would be much better to get some insight into the context and thoughts behind the photos.

We'll be rolling out our first LA Weekly Reader Photos slideshow on LAWeekly.com by the end of August and look forward to including so many of your amazing shots. Just wanted to send out a reminder about the group rules which state that by submitting your photos to the LA Weekly Flickr pool you grant us permission to use them (with proper credit and attribution to you) in our blogs and photo galleries. See below and post with any questions you might have and we'll get back to you...

You hereby agree to upload images only of Los Angeles and its surrounding areas.

You hereby agree to upload images that do not feature nudity or are otherwise inappropriate for younger viewers.

You hereby agree that any images uploaded to the LA Weekly Flickr Pool may be used by the LA Weekly on its website, www.laweekly.com/, and blogs with proper credit and attribution.

Photos that do not meet these specifications will be deleted from the pool.

also, the photos do not need to be exclusive, but they must be taken by you.

i only do concert photography, i also assume most of the shows i am shooting are already covered by the weekly but I am sure a few slip under the radar and ill post pics up of whatever i go and see.
