This is just a thought, but might it be a good idea to have a daily upload limit on this board.

Pinup Shoot

For those that might be interested,

I am hosting a pinup themed shoot at my place in Clinton Township (address and phone below) tomorrow afternoon from 4-7pm. The weather is supposed to be perfect, so we hope to see you there.

We will be getting together to shoot 3 or 4 classic cars outdoors with 4-5 professional models (male and female) all in a Pin Up theme. There will also be a hair and makeup stylist on set too and light refreshments will be available. Space will be limited to 15 photographers at a cost of only $99 and will be on a first come first serve basis unless you call and pre pay your addmission fee via credit card.

By limiting the amount of shooters, this will allow all shooter's to direct and shoot all models. Photographers may bring whatever lighting they wish, but remember your time per model will be limited so that all photographers will have the opportunity to capture great images. We suggest on camera flash and or reflectors. These images are going to make your portfolios SHINE!

New Meetup Group

For those of you that have any interest, I have started a new meetup group that will be based on setting up and offering stylized shoots to photographers.

There will be shoots of all types and sizes offering a diverse collection of outings and themes for photographers to shoot. Joining the group is free, but events will be $5 and up, depending on the complexity and logistics of putting the event together, as well as the educational value.

Sometimes it seems as though the Metro Times exists more for the Titty Bars and massage joints than for cutting edge journalism. One half page is set aside for the thoughts of the readers. There are some quality writers[Guyette] but they are given precious little space. Detroit is becoming a media desert and if The Times can cut it, we will be without.
