Despite having such heavy showers of hail stones that the garden and all the roofs looked like it had snowed, today was the first proper day of Spring for me, as the first fledgling arrived in the garden.

That's so true. I think Flickr is trying to be all things to all people and, by doing that, you generally end up pleasing nobody.

No, I wouldn't move from Flickr, either. I like this group, the members and the discussions here. It's the slowness that still gets me, but as Johan (above) says, that may improve in time. On a positive note - I've come to really like the cover photo header. If it would stay in the 'Edit' view (the old format) I'd be much happier.

Thanks for the reply. I don't like the changes and have said so in the forums. However, I am loath to give up so much work and social contacts. All the details are still there somewhere except the facilty that most "complainers" want, ie to choose a format. We all have an option to go elsewhere. It's such a pity to spoil a good and simple system.

Completely agree - appears this is a new member on Flickr since March 2013 so one can only assume this has been posted here as this is a popular group and thus seeking views to bump his stats up.
