Did you know you can take photos in total darkness if you get your flash modified?

Also, if your camera has live-view & can shoot videos, you can see and shoot it in total darkness.

My Canon EOS-1D X was modified by ATG.
So the camera is now called ATG Canon EOS-1D X IR.

You won't have problems if you got the camera modified with IR in front of the sensor.

Hi Sharon,

You need to try 715nm or higher filter.

Those 520/540/590 are too low.

What camera are you planing to convert into IR camera?

Hello everyone. I am fairly new to the group and to infrared photography. I don't get on line much but wondered if anyone has a 540nm filter or lower in their converted or dedicated SLR that would be able to direct me to some out of camera or processed photos. I am about to have my camera converted and am thinking of going with one of these more colourful filters but can't decide which way to go. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I like the 590nm look but have heard of the 540, 520 etc. thanks so much.
