You guys... we now have an album of nearly 600 photos - celebrating shooting into the sun. You're exploring new possibilities and spreading the word that the sun is a friend .. not foe.

yeah, jimi it is exactly like that...the colors and sun flares and sun light keep me going w/ my eyes on it...sometimes so much that I miss the dark corners and edges and staircases and I smash right smack dab into them or fall down and you know...it hurts...and the stars twinkle around my head and I'm a little dizzy. But I get up and I have to smile, because the sunshine and the sunlight cover it up and uncover it all at the same time and the shots reflect the dichotomy that is life. Knowing exactly what's going on and yet, not having a damn clue as to how it's all going to turn out : )

shooting into the sun is the name of my game. there is nothing better than light bubbles (not sure what the technical term is here- you know, those disks of light) float across your subject. it's magical.

someone once, and i might be wrong but he may be an administrator for this group, tried to warn me against shooting into the sun...

my only intention of shooting against the sun is to get a lens flare, but unfortunately i didnt got any, it was a waste of my film and how i wish i can do it on digital cam.

Shooting into the sun for me describes much of life: unpredictable and blinding. Completely objective and (un)masterable, its a shot in which you cannot foresee the outcome. For what its worth the shot can always be explained but sometimes not understood. What are your thoughts?
