I am doing a project on what motivates people to share textures and photos for other people to use in their creative work.

Can you complete a survey about why you share textures or photos for other people to use?

First of all thank you to everyone for posting your textures we have a wonderful range
secondly would it be handy to have a thread where you could post images where the textures have been used please do respond.

please always remember when using a texture to quote the owner and also please this group

I want to keep this a happy friendly place without to many silly rules

Andreas: If you don't have a Layer Mask and are using PSE, don't worry. Simply add an adjustment layer (by clicking on the half white/half black circle icon) and don't select any adjustments, just click okay. The adjustment layer will automatically come with a layer mask.

heres a simple example
the texture using the move tool is placed either over a background from PSE or your own picture

using the move tool still stretch to fit
then play with layers blends and opacity in fact anything you want until your happy
