Chi-belle, now you know I fully welcome venting here, because you know i feed off of it :) I have to admit that all three of you have good and interesting views on this. I'm actually surprised not many others here spoke on this. Unfortunately, we are a world that has ABSOLUTELY NO VALUE on human life.

BOTH Farrah and Micheal were iconic talented people. Regardless of people see him and feel about him, you still have to admit that he was first and last with his kind his talent, and could never be classified to anyone else. He gave everybody some great music.

The main thing that people should look at here is, if you don't take care of yourself, then you are NOT going to live long. It's just that simple. Both human life and health need to be valued alot more. That's what people are overlooking here...

You can't say what he did you weren't there!

I'm not judging him, and even if he did molest those children it is partly their parents fault, you don't let your children hang out with adults you don't know and you better be leery of the ones you know.

He was an Icon you can say what you want, and think what you want but it is what it is!!! ,;o]...

Im just sick of the constant news coverage of michael, he will be pages 1 thru 4 of the newspapers, farrah page 5, its horrible

Ok today, two iconic people passed away and I am seriously sick of all the crass and rude humor that is being passed around... what sort of example are we setting for the generations below us if we put no value on human life?

my kids watch tv BUT IT is controled at all times, they ONLY know dora, diego and other things by the friends they play with in school but they dont watch it

they watch super why which is about reading and problem solving in social situations, word girl, vocabulary show, and old scooby doos and old bugs bunny i have on dvd

they dont watch music videos or whatever is on. If I want to watch family guy, i tape it and wait for them to go to bed

I know a girl that when she was 4 was watching csi with her older sister cause her mom didnt want anything to do with her at night after she worked and she wouldnt go to bed til 11pm !~

She was so disconnected emotionally and mentally messed up, she is better now, some of that had to do with her dad being in iraq but now that hes home, her momma does her job

My husband and I often think that we are the only family in America that does not literally watch tv... lol (We do watch movies but we control what comes into our house) We do not have cable, we do not have an antenea... the only tv my kids see is white snow... because we made the choice 3 years ago to cut the cord and it was the best decision we could've made for us.

I am so sick of mainstream America letting the tele raise their families. And then they wonder where a childs opinions come on sexuality, violence and language.

I have two wonderful kids (12 & 15) and we spend more time playing board games together or going to the beach in a month than most families do in a year. Most of my children's friends perfer to be at my house and call me "mom" and I believe it's because they want what my kids have.

Yes I work outside of my house, but my house is always a HOME! I believe my children are worth the effort to love and raise and not puppies, that I just have to lay down newspaper on the floor and hope for the best.

There now I've had my say... :-)
