The Spanish vespas produced by Motovespa in Madrid were very good though & apparently Motovespa usesd thicker gauge steel for the frames than Piaggio in Italy did....

My Spanish Sprint was a great vespa, was sad to see it go but am happy with my Sprint Veloce. I don't know too much about Spanish Vespas but try checking out these Spanish vespa websites:

They're in Spanish so you'll have to translate them but they may give you more info about your model.
