Hello friends
I am Paul (writerman) and live in Echuca which is a large town on the banks of the Murray River in Australia. I was invited to join this group based on some of my recent street images. I truly dig this group. I mean it's inspired isn't it? Snatching souls is what photography has always been about, just some folks lost their way along the journey somehow. And it's our job to lead them all back to the right path!!! I very much look forward to getting to know all of you and the great images on this group

I find that my most useful piece of gear is my iPod. When I zone out listening to music, I feel less self-conscious and draw less attention to myself. If you act like you're not doing anything weird, then people won't care.

Members of this group may be interested in the new bi-annual Street Photography magazine PUBLICATION which has just launched its first limited edition issue on the theme of 'Inspiration'. It consists of a booklet of essays and 22 beautiful unbound prints that come in a custom made carton. Produced out of London by street photographer and flickr member Nick Turpin.

And if you do make candid pictures in the street, you can submit them for consideration in future editions here.
