Die alte Wallfahrtskapelle St. Johann im Felde liegt zwei Kilometer südlich des Ortes Raisting, in unmittelbarer Nähe zu der 1964 errichteten Erdfunkstelle, über die weltweite Kommunikation mit Hilfe von Satelliten betrieben wird.

The old chapel of St. Johann in the field is two kilometers south of the village Raisting in Upper Bavaria in close proximity to the earth station. It was built in 1964 and makes possible the global communication through satellite.

Über dem Voralpenland hingen grau-weiße Wolkenformationen. Fast wie bei Föhn, aber der Himmel war nicht blau. Durch die starken Regenfälle sind die Wiesen am Ammersee überschwemmt und beherbergen quakende Frösche.

Over the prealpine country hang grey-white clouds with special patterns. We had much rain, so the meadows are flooded and there live many croaking frogs.
