Out & about the other day with my dear pal that I just don't get to see often enough, Wild Curl.

It was a fun day. Jeannette brought along her Pocket Wizards and so we horsed around with off-camera flash. Since it was 7am or thereabouts (what was I thinking...?) the Stone Arch bridge was pretty deserted. Perfect for some jumping shots. And honestly, could you ask for a more exuberant model? I need to get her in front of the camera more often. :-)

For you Strobists out there: Nikon D3 14mm f11 1/250, triggering a Canon 580 EX II at 1/128 about ten feet camera left.

Nearly under the canopy of night.

Went for a walk with Wild Curl earlier this week. TTV of her in the woods beside the St Croix River in Hudson, Wisconsin, with the sun getting low in the sky.

Walking through Roberts, Wisconsin with Wild Curl this past Tuesday. We found all sorts of neat things, including this old traffic stoplight which had been opened up, exposing the mirror.

Who could resist taking a double-self-portrait in something as cool as that?
