Biharinath

Biharinath is the highest hill in Bankura district (West Bengal, India). The hill is 1480 ft. high. You can visit Biharinath Shiva temple at the foot of the hill. The natural scenery is beautiful. Now it is a popular tourist spot in Burdwan-Bankura region, an ideal place for very short tour or for a weekend tour. Food and lodging are available in the nearby lodges.

How to reach:
By Railways: From Asansol or from Adra station take trains towards Madhukunda. From Madhukunda Rly station, you can hire reserved car. Bus and auto services are also available up to the hill in schedule time. The hill is nearly 16 km from Madhukunda.
By Road: From Asansol, by road up to Sarbari More (via Neamatpur). From Sarbari More, turn left and you will reach Biharinath hill (via Tiluri ) with in a hour. You can also visit from Raniganj (via Saltora) up to the hill.

Nearby places: Baranti, Panchet Hill and Dam, Garhpanchakot, Joychandi Pahar, Susunia Hill, Gadi Bero etc.

Another one I shot in advance of the start date of the project. I was in reading one night and thought I'd swing up to the pagoda (seen easily from nearly everywhere around Reading) and get a night shot of it lit up. Since the lights are red it seemed natural to use it for a red theme. I haven't been able to come up with anything better so I'm using it.
