It is more than 50 years old and is equipped with an uncoated, collapsible Summar lens from the thirties. I've never used this lens much because I don't trust uncoated glass very much. But after having seen many interesting pictures of some of my Flickr friends which were successfully taken with more-than-simple and outdated lenses I decided to give the Summar a try. I was positively surprised. Colour rendition admittedly is not the strongest part of that tiny 2/50mm but contrast and resolution are ok - given that this lens has a doubtful reputation as a performer. Together with my thread mount Leica it is a very compact and portable combination which is a pleasure to use. The image above shows a typical Wuppertal scene.
