世界第三，亞洲最大郵輪。海洋旅行者號
去年第一次來基隆時錯過了拍它
一直注意今年進港的消息，不過可惜這一天下著大雨，而且又是媽媽節
抽了一點時間衝上虎仔山快速拍了幾張，這裡有遮雨還算是順利
希望幾天後它再回來時，能是個好天氣有空慢慢拍啊~~!

下午往台北去沿路都是壯觀的山嵐，心很癢，不過要慶祝媽媽節比較重要
晚上回程沿路看著還是隱約可見，於是顧不了下著雨還是衝上了五分山
感謝老天賞臉我到達後，雨漸漸停了，而且確實有不錯的琉璃雲霧
也感謝山上後來起了大霧，沒有讓我流連忘返，因為還要上班哩 XD

Multnomah Falls

Did a long drive today taking in Mt Hood and the surrounding area. On my way back to Portland, I stopped off at the Multnomah Falls just off I-84 that had been recommended to me.

What can I say? Absolutely spectacular and very impressive. This two-stage waterfall drops an impressive 620ft and is the second highest year-round waterfall in the United States.

Unfortunately the one thing I had not brought with me this day was my tripod! So unfortunately no nice long exposures of this beautiful creation of nature. **EPIC FAIL** on my part. But this is the best I could do at the time. Enjoy… :-)

Taken from the top of Seattle's Space Needle, this is an HDR of 7 separate photos of between 0.5 and 30 seconds.

The view is of downtown Seattle, with Puget Sound on the right. The tracks of the monorail, linking the Space Needle to Westlake station can clearly be seen in the bottom centre, extending along 5th Avenue...

The taking of this took some creativity on my part, as tripods of course stand with their legs out, and the centre column, well, central! However this meant that I got some glass, and above that, safety railings in the shot! It was awful. So I rigged a way of leaning the tripod at an angle up against the outer wall, then extending the centre column up above the glass. This meant my camera - although locked onto my tripod and tethered around my neck, was sat precariously on the edge of the tower!!

Ah well… It was worth it :-)
