So, I did the core section of my Yoga video today. I can feel it, so that's good. Ultimate goal of the day that will make me feel like a total rock star? To fit in the 5-Factor Workout this evening.

Not to lay out all my issues or anything, but this one is new and difficult for me. I've always been fit... until now. I can see the thunder/chunk/cellulite/fat/etc. just creeping all over my body like the tide coming in. It's horrifying and I don't know how it got this way. I don't feel like I'm really doing anything differently than I was a year ago. And yet, here I am. Writing notes to myself and really trying to stay on track so that I can fit into all my beautiful clothes again. I feel like Rachel McAdams in Mean Girls - sweatpants are the only things that fit me anymore.

Ugh. It's a new feeling to be disgusted with myself.

I'm done ranting... carry on.

This is my back porch. I've lived in this apartment for a year and now it's time to start packing up and saying my goodbyes. I never liked the apartment much... until now. Funny how things change that way. But it's time to move on, hope on the next leg of the journey. Party's over, little apartment. Time to grab your jacket and go home...wherever that will be.

I was at the Canal in Richmond a while ago and there were lots of ducks out. This little guy was left way behind, fending for himself. He kept chirping ever so quietly and kept on keeping on. Sad and beautiful all at once.
