Having a feast.
A pre-Mother's Day visit to the park. It was a sunny day with temperatures up to the lower 90's by late morning. Just a hint of what's to come later in the summer.
We had a nice morning visit and then stopped by El Charo for lunch.

After missing out on a really spectacular sunset a few days ago because I didn't bring my camera along on our walk, this evening I was determined not to make the same mistake. So of course the sunset was mediocre.
But, as they say, "Always look over you shoulder." The hazy clouds made the moon more interesting and an obliging group of doves provided a foreground.
I don't know that the birds are really all that interesting, not at least it creates a title that's somewhat different.

We spent about an hour and a half wandering around Tohono Chul Park taking photos and admiring the plants and flowers and then stopped by their tea room for a very nice late lunch.
