where else in the world you can get that close to the hunting dolphins ?

This shot is made with 10.5mm fisheye lens and it is not cropped, which means only few centimiters are between camera and animals charging at bait fish. Common dolphins are very precise in their movement, they avoid collisions - and any collision with 2m long bulky animal swimming at 30 km/h can have very serious consequences ! ^_^

this year one thing was missing from the Sardine Run - sardines. Duskies were totally frustrated and I found myself in the shark soup on the surface quite a few times. This big 3.5m specimen was harvesting bait fish on the surface when I stuck my camera into his face - this shot is taken from 20cm distance with 10.5mm lens and is not cropped ^_^

typical scene from Sardine Run 2012 - number of sharks was about the same as number of bait fish. Well, who wants to photograph bait fish anyway ? ^_^
