Pratt's Brook flows through this tunnel under railroad tracks above - they are the tracks the Amtrak Downeaster travels on through Yarmouth on its way from Portland to Freeport, Maine. We really didn't think we'd be able to walk through the tunnel, as the river was only partly frozen outside the tunnel. But once we managed to get inside, it occurred to us that the sun never hits the frozen river here - so it makes sense that the ice would be more established here. Photo taken with an Olympus Evolt E-500 and ZD 14-54/2.8-3.5.

Still working on catching up, this photo was taken back on October 15, 2011. It should be a familiar scene to anyone who has frequented my photo stream. When I take these same shots over and over, it's of course usually with a different camera or lens - and of course as always, different lighting since a scene is never really the same from one visit to the next.
