My fried chicken and potato salad from Willie Mae's. This is one of the finest example of fried chicken on the planet, perfectly cooked, juicy, and covered with the most delicate crispy batter coating that simply melts in your mouth, leaving a very delicate salt and light spice flavor. Seriously, this breading needs to be experienced, no words or pictures do it justice.

My entree, the "Shrimp n' Grits." This was very good, with some perfectly cooked shrimp, tender grits, and a nice smoky bacon sauce tying it all together.

Our "Buzz Bomb" dessert, which wa basically a rich chocolate cake with an apricot glaze. I'm not usually into apricots, but this worked quite well.
