Technical update :

I'm not that far from the wall and I was using my 17-55mm. I used my abseiling device but only for 5 or 6 meters.

At the beginning I was really preoccupied by the harsh light. It was sunny and the limestone was very bright. When I was exposing on it, all other things on the picture including the climber became too dark. This is the case on this picture but not on this one because the sky was getting cloudy.

I wanted to shoot climbers in a multi-pitch route since a while but this was not an easy project. I was dreaming of steep walls, that meant finding serious and motivated climbers (it is also better to be at least four people to do the shooting properly).

Last fall we were at last four guys, ready for an attempt on Parfum d'altitude (6b,5+,6b+,6c,7a+/A0,7b+,6b+,6c,5+) in the Pyrénées mountains.

Here is Thibault in the third pitch. You can also see Nicolas wearing a white helmet and a red shirt.

"Les ailes du désir" may be one of the most famous route in les Gorges du Tarn : the line is about 55m long and is as much beautiful as impressive.

Boulders are sometimes quite big, the fall must be seriously avoided even with the crashpads and the spotters.

Parfois les blocs sont relativement hauts, la chute doit être évitée même avec les matelas et les pareurs.

Fall is one of the best seasons for Fontainebleau bouldering, sunny days with low temperatures which optimize grip on sandstone. It is also a season with warm light and nice colors. Part of the outdoor portfolio.

L'automne est l'une des meilleures saisons pour grimper à Fontainebleau, des journées ensoleillées et des températures fraîches qui améliorent l'adhérence sur le grès. C'est aussi une saison où la lumière est chaude et les couleurs agréables. Fait partie du portfolio outdoor.

This is my first time climbing on this cliff, the wall is not that big but some lines are beautiful and the place is very enjoyable in spring : the sun warmes the climber in the routes and the temperature is perfect while resting on the ground.

C'est la première fois que je viens grimper sur cette falaise, le mur n'est pas très grand, ni très impressionnant mais certaines lignes sont très belles et l'endroit est très agréable au printemps : le soleil réchauffe dans les voies et la température est parfaite dans le sous-bois.
