Suddenly, every car is stopping on a parking close to the main road. From a no man's land, we arrive to a coffe shop, a bridge and… a sunny and freezing area.

The same feeling as when walking in the snow on the top of a mountain during a beautiful day of winter. Except it's a prairie during September.

Yet walking after the tempest, the trail following the shore had shown incredible canvas of colors.

The sky was on fire, stipped with heavey clouds, light blue and vibrant sun reflections.

And passing by, this bark was alone, looking at the biggest glacier of Iceland.

By spotting the flow of the wind on the water, you could guess why the fishermen initially created the village on this side of the fjörd.

Tools and laws has been modernized. FIshermen remain fishermen.

When you travel to Djúpivogur from the North of Iceland, you will have to "cross" one of the largest eastern fjörd: Berufjörður.

It would take you a day by foot as following the shore from a side to another is longer than 40 kilometers.

The view is almost the best one I've seen in this country.

Just have a look at the rescue team located in the middle of this picture.

After scanning and processing the 3 rolls of photos, I've been astonishing myself: I wanted more of them, more pictures, more discovery, more landscapes.

From this point, the view over the land is infinite. For dozen of kilometers, you won't see anything else than a flat land.

And just imagine this landscape: red sheet metal, yellow grass, green moss.

We've awaited for hours in the gas station of Vík í Mýrdal. The outside was occupated by a deep mist.

It was only in the middle of the afternoon we discovered we were waiting only a couple of meters from the shore.

Walking there, I've seen this woman. She did not move for long, looking around, looking in front of here.

Rediscovering this picture months after makes me nostalgic. She is like a ghost appearing on the pier. Maybe disapearing minutes after.

Right after crossing the devastating storm, we were seeking for warmth and hot food.

A small and friently fast food is living there, on Höfn harbor.

Once in, we've met some girls occupating their wednesday afternoon with their cell phones. I can easily imagine the gossips and Facebook profiles lurking.

They were enjoying the moment by dipping their fries in the ketchup, sucking the sauce, dipping the fry again, and finally eating it.

The air close to the lagoon is dry and colder than usual. The colors too; especially when an iceberg breaks and reveals its underwater part.

The ice is then waterlogged and… blue. You can also ear the crackling of the melting ice.

And seing otters swimming around.
