a quickly changing summer day, rainclouds in the distance over the isle of Arran. i loved the vibrancy of the surf, & changing light reflections.

I was trying in-cam B&W mode.
with Hoya polariser + cokin ND8 grad.
I decided to leave the tripod in the car, and just wander with camera & a grad.

i hoped when i headed to the coast that i would catch the end of a stormy couple of days.
think i guessed right, really windy & very brisk, but a great day to be by the sea.
i stuck my camera in B&W mode, and filtered heavily to catch the drama.

a little known fact, Scotland leads the way in cloud manufacturing.
Using hundreds of local distilleries & advanced technologies, it allows scottish cloudmakers to make the 'little white fluffy cloud', which is exported all over Europe, & the world.

: The cloud shown above is the 'Gray blanket cloud' which is used domestically, probably to be shipped to the scottish west coast (Glasgow).

ohh,.. we also make whisky !
