We then spent time picking glasses, etc. Since her glasses would only take an hour, we also at Wildflower Bread Co., also at the mall. So the only time I really had to shoot was when everything was done and we were heading home. I decided to experiment with some architechture and the night sky. I shot this at the entrance to that mall near Cheesecake Factory. The black near the top is the night sky. No tripod. And it was done using my point and shoot set to Shutter Speed priority at 1 second. The slight blur was expected and intentional. I think it came out fairly well. I think it looks better and kind of shows what I was trying to capture. The saguaro right in the center of the shot looks kind of like a guy on horseback. The first time I saw it, I thought it was pretty cool because it is right next to an equestrian park, so it was a bit ironic that I thought of that. Converting to black and white and making it contrasty definitely made it stand out a bit more, but I'm not sure it's exactly what I envisioned. I hate cameras with no view finders.
