This garden is accessible only to residents. There is a tennis court, a lawn, several pathways with benches, two kiosks, two dog loos and rather too many signposts marking interdictions of sorts.

Tese are private gardens open only to residents and most probably one of the largest private garden squares in London.
I believe, in the 19th c it hosted a small zoo.
Some of the specimen trees are superb and so is the landscaping which surrounds two tennis courts.
On the North side there is an underground garage.
Sloane Street links Sloane square to Kightsbridge and Hyde Park and it follows more or less the course of one of London's "underground rivers". These were tributaries of the river Thames which in Victorian times were confined to meere sewage conduits and covered to become streets.
Civil engineering works of the 19th centrut were carried out on a stupendous scale and rendered the london more salubrious.
