I've come across the pairing of butterflies on the odd occasion, but found them hard to detect among the undergrowth.
You could easily walk passed them as the are very hard to spot. Fortunately for me it was only when another butterfly disturbed the coupling , that I only noticed them.

Walked to the top of the ridge of Stiperstones for the first time since my operation back in July.
Really missed some spectacular days recently, but tonight's sky didn't disappoint.

Out for a late meet with my good friend Matt Sillence, to watch the sun going down.
The wind is bitterly cold and know longer can feel my fingers. Probably a good hour to go until the sun finally disappears over the horizon.
The sky is amazing tonight and the view, oh wow, you can see for miles and miles.

Lovely color rape, makes a wonderful picture in the right setting.
I am taking a chance here as its still pretty early and the light isn't at its best. There is a little hint of a warm glow as the sun finally pokes its face over the horizon, hence the slight orangy look to the field.

Morning folks.
Worked the late shift until 10 pm last night, finally got to bed around midnight, then I was back up again, out the door and on the river for 4.40 am this morning. Some might call this madness, you maybe right, but I love it !

You can't beat a cold crisp morning down on the river, just the solitude of the place, there's nothing like it.

Some mornings I would say that this is perfect, but not for here, well not today anyway. I was hoping for a little mist, as its so cold on the river at 4.40 am or even a little more cloud to capture the reflection.
Shouldn't really grumble, as I have managed to miss the pending rain.
