On a whim, decided to head up to Maine to eat some seafood. Stopped by at the Portland Head Light for some shooting action. I wanted to go over the fence and down onto the rocks, but was dissuaded :LOL:

Sooooo, I got this Rodenstock Apo-Grandagon 35mm f4.5 for my Century Graphic. Don't have a 6x9 back yet so went and shot a roll in 6x7, and I'm liking the width here, yeah boy.

I'm also in talks with Matt @ Scopeworks to make a 6x12 camera with this lens and my Shen Hao roll film back. That should be really exciting…. would I want to shoot my 903SWC any more after that….??? We'll see :D

This is one of the first buttes you come up to real close on the Valley of the Gods road (if you enter from the south); standing right here, there was this very interesting echo characteristics––which I could've *sworn* I took a video of, but just can't find it in my Aperture library :(

This might be what you'd call UCM (as opposed to ICM): Unintentional Camera Movement (LOL).

Basically, one of my tripod head's knobs was left untightened when I set off a 30s shutter. Strong wind slowly rotated the camera direction. Voila :D

So, I couldn't help myself. I found a deal on Ebay, so I grabbed a Schneider MC 75/5.6 for my Speed Graphic. Getting into wide angle on my 4x5 system, baby!!

Went up to the White Mountains today; great weather, but the foliage isn't near what it could be. Apparently, it's a disease that's going around preventing a lot of the trees from turning. Oh well. Good hiking though! :D

Hmmm, I'm getting this banding in the sky with Silver Efex Pro 2's "Full DR". This is from a 16bit RAW file out of the 5D… I wonder why? Unfortunate….

After shooting some shots near the Tappan Zee Bridge, I went further south to check out the New Jersey Palisades––unfortunately, the sun was (again) directly in the lens, and the shots didn't come out too well. I was able to get a decent shot shooting south towards GW Bridge and Manhattan :-)
