A single 3.2 second long exposure capture with a Canon 5DMkII and 16-35mm f/2.8L MkII lens @ f/11 with ISO800. Camera mounted on a Manfrotto 055CX3 Tripod with a 322RC2 grip ball head. No HDR silliness here..

Musée du Louvre, with the pyramid that functions as the main entrance to the museum in the foreground. It should be noted that going through the main entrance is a poor idea, one is much better off coming in via the Metro (Subway) and walking through the underground mall to a small museum entrance.

Centre Georges Pompidou

Just a simple snap from a Canon 5DMkII with a 16-35mm f/2.8L MkII... while walking around the last museum we stopped by in Paris.

In less than seven days we visited the Uffizi in Florence Italy to see the start and evolution of the Renaissance, then went to Paris to see the Louvre, Musée d'Orsay to see things further develop in terms of art (along with a side trip to Musée Rodin) and finished off here at the Pompidou to see lots of modern works. It was an amazing privilege to see so much amazing art in such a short time...

Musée d'Orsay, which was formerly the Gare d'Orsay railway station.

... in the lower right hand corner if viewed large you could see a 'no photography' sign, so these were shot blind with the camera on my hip.
