Turning over a new leaf. There is just something wonderful about the baby leaves as they unfurl in spring. Like touchable hope. ;)

This is one of those shots where you can't really tell what you've got until you can look at it later. As I was driving to the post office this morning, I noticed the nice new roof that one of our local churches had put on. The sky was so blue (for a change!) and the cross on the steeple was framed nicely by the clouds. I decided to stop on my way back home and grab a shot or two with my phone. I can never see what's on the camera in the bright light outside, so I snapped a few shots and left. Later, when I looked at the pictures, I was pleasantly surprised to see the bit of flare from the sun shining down toward the cross. Made me smile. ;)
