Ten heraldic beasts representing the genealogy of Queen Elizabeth II outside the Palm House at Kew Gardens. They are (from L to R):
• White Greyhound of Richmond
• Yale of Beaufort
• Red Dragon of Wales
• White Horse of Hanover
• Lion of England
• White Lion of Mortimer
• Unicorn of Scotland
• Griffin of Edward III
• Black Bull of Clarence
• Falcon of the Plantagenet

I've long wanted to photograph and montage all ten of these statues, and I'll likely do so again as these aren't wonderful pictures.

I have no idea what this duck is, but it was rather pretty. I guess it could be a hybrid or an ornamental not native to the UK. Taken by the formal lake at Kew Gardens, London, 07 June 2008.

Update: Thanks to Dae05 who tells me this is a Red Shoveller; native of South America, mainly Argentina.

I have no idea what this goose is -- possibly an Egyptian Goose cross? Certainly seems to be something not native to the UK. Taken by the formal lake at Kew Gardens, London, 07 June 2008.

Nearest the camera is the White Greyhound of Richmond (that's Richmond in Yoirkshire, by the way). Looks rather like Scooby Doo!
