I had a chance to shoot with Lorena for the first time today. It was fun and I felt like it went pretty well considering how little time we really put into it. It helped that it was a gorgeous day with a great sunset.

I haven't posted many portraits up recently but I do hope to add more to my portfolio in the coming months.

This is a pretty diverse location. Its is very close to where I live which is great, because there isn't much else around here where I can shoot. This is right next to the San Jacinto river, with great foliage and great natural looks but also very close to the interstate with some really grunge looks to it (graffiti, cracked textures, etc). This is one of the Toyota Chasers owned by Drift Company Brasil. I captured this shot during a short break in the drifting. I really wish these were sold here in the United States - they are definitely one of my favorite cars!

This was taken on the interstate in Sao Paulo, Brazil. I really enjoyed the sky that day and was doing my best to capture the city as we drove through it. I was quite a bit nervous as our driver suggested we do not roll down our window as the motorcycle riders (known as "Motoboyz") were known to snatch objects out of cars.

This is one of my favorite photos of Ana Rosa. She was behind the wheel of one of the Toyota Chasers owned by Drift Company Brasil. Her look is seductive and menacing, much different than the rest of the photos we had taken throughout the day.

I had the opportunity to travel to Itu, Brazil to visit the home of "Drift Company Brasil", a group of passionate and dedicated drift enthusiasts. We were able to watch as they demonstrated their cars and driving abilities at Kartódromo Arena Schincario, a local kart track which double as a small drift course.

This photo really captures the spirit of Drift Company Brasil. These young men have made tremendous sacrifices to make this sport a reality in their country and continue to remain light hearted and fun throughout all the obstacles and pressure they have endured.

This photo was taken at Kartódromo Arena Schincariol in Itu, Brazil. I was there to meet with Drift Company Brasil who also share the track with the go-karts. It was very impressive how serious the competition was during the kart races.

Putnam County Drive-In Movie Theatre

This is the Putnam County Drive In Movie Theatre. While this area used to be a popular source of entertainment for people in Baxter and Cookeville, it is now run down and abandoned. A large warehouse and factory is now located in the area behind the screen. Weeds and vines have covered the small sign up front, and the scren itself is losing its paint and discolored and hardly recognizeable except for how large it is.

Just recently, a wrecking crew was sent to knock down the screen. They also knocked down the sign board by accident.

This is probably my favorite photo taken at this event, and this car was one of my favorites at the event as well.

DGTrials hosted the Private Drift Day this weekend at the Nashville Super Speedway. There was plenty of action all day, and most cars ran from 9 in the morning to five in the evening. Overall, it was a very good day and I had alot of fun.

Thumbs Up to DGTrials! Also, thanks to Festive Garage for putting this event on, as well!

Midori Green EK Civic Hatch

Go easy on me, this was one of my first shoots with off camera lighting!

This photo made it into the "Oh Snaps!" section in Honda Tuning. June '08 I believe, with the K-Sight on the cover!

This shot was taken under the bridge in Nashville on a Saturday night, where all the local imports come to ride through and hang out.

I love the car, its a Civic Hatchback, in the well known but rare Midori Green color. Its modified, but tastefully, and contains a B16 DOHC VTEC motor. My favorite part would have to be the mean stance, as well as the paint matched lip on the wheels.

Gear & Lighting: Shot with a 40D, Tamron 28-75 & Sigma 10-20 used in this set, and 3 strobes (2 Sunpak 383s, 1 Vivitar 285HV) at each visible corner of the car, lit from about 6 feet up on lightstands, all triggered by Cactus V2S wireless triggers.

These ducks are generally pretty friendly, but they all took off into the water when they realized I didn't have any bread. Luckily, I shot this before they headed off to mooch off someone else.

Animals really don't realize what hard labor is like. I wish I was a lazy duck sometimes. It'd be like living off welfare.
