This second-floor window with the dressmaker mannequins always catches my attention. It feels like you're peeking into a seamstress' work area. I don't think they sew anything at Hudson's Bay anymore. The pedestrian bridge on the right of the shot connects Hudson's Bay with the Eaton Centre.

Bridge over Queen

Week 44/52, 2012

I've always wanted to take a picture of this bridge across Queen Street that connects the Eaton Centre and the Bay. It has good lines, although it's tricky to shoot it without people crossing. I probably should have gone earlier in the morning. I thought about B&W, but I liked the green and yellow.

I had dinner on Queen Street West tonight. It's an interesting area of Toronto with some funky shops and restaurants and more recently chain stores as well. I liked this signage for an optical shop that was across the street from our restaurant.

This photo has some subtle touches that only seem to show up in Lighbox (hit "L").
